This Privacy Policy describes how developer Saifullah Zia ("we", "us", "our", or "Developer") handles user privacy for the Search Quran mobile application (Package Name: com.quranraj.app), available on the Google Play Store.

We believe in complete privacy. Search Quran is designed as an offline Islamic educational tool. We do not collect, harvest, store, share, or sell any personal data from our users.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal data or usage information.

• No User Account / Registration: You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information (such as your name, phone number, or email address) to use Search Quran.
• No Tracking or Profiling: We do not track your location, browsing habits, or how you interact with the app.
• Offline SQLite Database: All Quranic text, translations, and search indexes are packaged directly inside an offline SQLite database within the app. No internet connection is needed, and no user queries are transmitted to external servers.
• Local Bookmarks: Any bookmarks or favorite verses you mark are stored solely on your local device via SQLite/local storage and are never uploaded or accessible to us.

3. Device Permissions and Usage

Search Quran operates completely offline and requires minimal device access. Below are details on device permissions:

• Microphone / Audio Access (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO) — Optional:
  Requested only if you choose to use the voice search feature to speak verse names or search terms. Audio is converted to text in real time on your device for searching. Voice data is never recorded, never transmitted, and never saved anywhere. If you prefer not to use voice search, you can deny this permission and type your search queries manually.
• No Internet Permission: The app does not require internet access for its core functions. All Islamic texts and indexes run completely offline.
• No Storage Permission: We do not request storage or media permissions to access your photos, media, or files.
• No Notification Permission: The app does not send push notifications.

4. Third-Party Services and Analytics

We do not integrate third-party advertising networks, marketing trackers, or external behavioral analytics SDKs that profile users.

The app runs as a standalone, privacy-first offline utility on Android utilizing standard Google Play Services runtime libraries provided by your Android OS.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Because Saifullah Zia does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on any server, there is no personal data stored by us to retain or delete.

Any preferences or bookmarks stored on your device can be cleared at any time simply by clearing the app data in your Android device settings or by uninstalling the application.

Search Quran is safe for all audiences, including children and families. Since we do not collect any personal data whatsoever, we do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13.

Developer Saifullah Zia may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted to this page with an updated revision date.
